DESCRIPTION:We host two Women Veteran Snowboarding Clinics each year. \nWe keep the spots limited to allow for one on one professional instruction and a closer bonding for the lady vets. All travel\, lodging\, and meals are covered. In addition\, each lady vet will leave the clinic with the gear and tools needed to continue snowboarding- snowboards\, boots\, helmets\, etc.\nWith every clinic\, it is important to Kirstie that every participant can continue the new sport and make it a part of the continuing healing journey.\nWith women veterans\, even if they are in different branches and areas of service\, when they come together they connect like they have known each other forever. To find that shared camaraderie and understanding leads to beautiful friendships. That is what we are most proud of when it comes to these clinics.\nWe also hope that every participant recognizes that no matter what challenges they have faced\, they can keep getting back up and seek out the adventure that lies ahead. That is what snowboarding can teach\, it is challenging\, you will get knocked down\, but then you’ll get back up and continue the ride. \nThe healing in the outdoors\, breathing in the fresh mountain air\, that is the natural element that is a part of every clinic we offer here in Glenwood Springs\, Colorado. \nThe application window will open for our 2026 season in November.
